Veteran Tombstone and Marker Cataloging

The Directors of the Friends of Greenwood Cemetery, along with the Philadelphia Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) Museum, are sponsoring a Volunteer Day to catalog and take pictures of all Veteran Tombstones from the Civil War till now, throughout the cemetery. We want to honor their service, ensuring that they all have undamaged, legible Veteran’s Tombstones.

Remember to bring your digital camera and walking shoes. Refreshments will be provided – hope to see you there!
