Lively Community Discussion on Historic Structure

Using their knowledge of local history- and vivid imaginations – a roomful of passionate stakeholders recently expressed their ideas for the future use of what most have come to refer to as “The Benjamin Rush House” located on the grounds of the Knights of Pythias Greenwood Cemetery.

While elected officials and the new cemetery owner-operator listened intently, the wide range of representatives from the area participated in the spirited brain-storming session facilitated by local writer/historian Tom Keels, perhaps best known for his “Philadelphia Graveyards and Cemeteries” (Arcadia Publishing, 2003).
